My Mood: | Vista Help
I am sure everyone is annoyed from these forums. However I looked around and I could'nt see anyone who had a forum that helped me. I got a new Gateway Laptop today.. it has Vista obvisouly I went to the site to get the PlayOnline Viewer for Vista. That went ok. However I cannot download FFXI Because I have the Final Fantasy XI Vana'Diel Collection 2007 And it downloads the PlayOnline Viewer/ Tetra Master first, then the Game, then the expansions, but since I already have the PlayOnline Viewer installed for Vista. I cannot install the Game because it says "Yew already have a version of PlayOnline Viewer please unistall that then contiune" But of course I can't b/c the PlayOnline Viewer disc wont even work w/ Vista.. So do I have to buy the actual game by itself.. then get all the expansion packs seperatly?

Have you tried installing the game straight from the disc, and not installing the Vista POL from the website? I just installed the entire collection three days ago on Vista and had no problems, but the difference between me and you is that I didn't install POL from the website first. Sorry if this doesn't help.

Try searching the forums using the search function. Basically, you'll need to 'Explore' the dvd and install each expansion seperately I think. I'm not too sure because I have the old FFXI discs and expansions seperately. |

| Re: Vista Help In the Start Menu, click on computer (or press Windows-E). Right click on your DVD drive and select Explore (it's the fourth down).
