tell sound

hello.. how do I make receiving tell play sound? is there a way I could make game sounds play while using other applications (hearing whats going on even if i'm surfing websites)? (I'm using SE window mode)..

In SE's windowed mode the only sound you will hear is the tell chime.

Go to your chat filters, and where you would turn the filter on or off for your tells, just keep clicking until it says "Off" and has a musical note next to it.

but still I can't hear anything when i minimize FF..

do you know what Hold does? just curious..

Hold makes it so your tells/party chat/ls chat stay on the top of your chat log for a few seconds longer, so that if shit is scrolling by really fast, you might have a better chance at seeing it.

And I've never minimized FFXI. I use Windower though, so I don't really know. My best advice would be not to minimize it but just alt-tab and see if that works.

nope , minimzing, alt-tap.. nothing makes game's sound play in the background ...I think I should use Windower ..again.

wow! I forgot how much I love addons! I thought I'm only getting a window mode but it seems there are some new stuff here! ( I didnt download Windower lite..duh)

and yes I could finally hear a goblin walking besides me while writing this post
