Error: POL-1155
Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this error?

It only comes up when I'm trying to update FFXI. I don't know what to do and I would really like to start playing again. I already purchased my Content ID and all that and I would really like to play as soon as I can.

Edit: New error...1154? Something about my HDD. No idea what that is...

Edit2: Problem solved...just uninstalled and reinstalled ff...

Edit3: I take that back...getting the error again! I NEED HELP!

Re: Error: POL-1155
Here are some responses that I read by Googling POL 1155:

"You *DON'T* need to reinstall FFXI.

Put your PlayOnline-and-TetraMaster CD in your computer *before* starting the PlayOnline Viewer.

Now start the PlayOnline Viewer. Let the updater run. It'll copy the files it needs, and then it'll go away for good. That's all there is to it."

"also got the poll 1155 error........it's solved when you run the program as admin!"

"As this has seemingly just started happening recently I'd use System Restore
to go back to when it was working, you'll probably find it was another piece
of software or a driver that has caused the upset.

To use System Restore (assuming it hasn't been disabled) browse to Start ->
All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> System Restore.

The wizard will then pop up and show a calendar of restore points. Go back
to a point you think pre-dates the problems. You won't lose any documents
or e-mails in the restore, but any applications installed after will
probably need to be reinstalled.

Keep track of any applications/drivers/updates you install after that point
for a while to see if you can work out what is causing the application to
fail."

"I had the same problem - it went away after I rebooted my PC."

I'm not saying any of these will fix your problem but with a little searching and reading you might be able to find a solution.
