A rather strange problem

I am having a problem where the game tries to disconnect me:

1. When I try to interact with npc's or tries checking the AH

2. When I am standing still or resting in parties

the recieve status in the top right corner just drops to 0 and threathens to disconnect me, but whenever I cancel whatever I am doing and start moving around it goes back to 135-185.

Funny thing is I used to play back in 2005-2006 and I didn't have either problem back then. I still use the same computer and internet as back then.

Don't know if following is relevant to the problem: but I live in Europe (Denmark), I own the ToAU expansion but I do not have it installed on the computer, and I do not own a copy of WoTG.

Do you have general connection problems with your internet?

Are you connected wirelessly?

Does any other computer share the connection and is downloading while you are playing. sometimes if constant packets are flowing to you (via fightin) then decrease when resting or browsing the AH the other computer may steal you bandwidth.

No it runs fine on other games I've been playing such as: WoW, Lineage II, Everquest II

Nope it's a cable connection

There is another computer connected via a switch, but it hasn't been turned on (as far as I know) while I have been playing. But I could try and unplug it and see if it works.
