Well I just got a brand new system with Vista (not my choice, it was pre installed ._.) and installed ffxi on it. Had no problem running it and hearing the sound just last night, but tonight I tried to sign on and not even POL had sound. You know, the piano music thinger or whatever when you first sign on.

I can't figure out for the life of me why the sound wont work for POL. The sound works for everything else, I've been on vent with my ls, listened to music, etc.

Anyone with vista have any sort of clue what's going on? XD

Cause the whole reason I got this new laptop in the first place was because the sound broke on my old one... I'd like to be able to listen to the game. >_>

EDIT - well, I didn't figure out why the sound quit on me, but I just did a system restore point thing and that seemed to fix the problem. So nevermind!
