This seems ot be a new trend recently (since I've been back anyway, maybe they all followed me). What I mean is that all the new people follow one of two ways, 1) they do not post a complete thought, or 2) they don't search before they ask a question.
Oh, and 3) they reply or make new topics when one is failed. There's a small button to the lower right of your post, it says , it allows you to edit it.
Right to all you guys here whooo seem to have a problem with people asking for help. I searched for this site on google found it and found some threads were people such as yourself and Febar were very helpful, i have seen posts about how to make gill, and have friends who play whoo have told me hence the moat carp, However it is never to late to learn and merely asking other people their opinion is not a crime. My question to you people is, if this is such a major problem for you Febar why did you reply to the post ? Inu Trunks, you have merely effectively stated the obvious to me, i am not asking for a link to other threads i am asking for peoples personal opinion on a matter which is fundamentally the main aspect of a MMO, courtesy is nothing as are manners and respect.
Everybody has different ways of making gil. And many will not share thier little secrets because if everyone was selling what I was selling, the price would go down. I'd also have to compete with others for drops.
Gil is what drives the economy in FFXI. Others have it, you want it. Find something they want in return for gil. But all this has been said multiple times in other threads.

Nobody here has a problem with people asking for help. We have a problem with people asking for help WITHOUT LOOKING IT UP, WITHOUT LOOKING AT STICKIES, AND WITHOUT TAKING THE TIME TO WRITE OUT A DECENT READABLE ENGLISH POST.
You DON'T want people's opinion, you want tips for making gil--- if you'd taken advice from Inu on that, you would've edited your post to point out that gaping flaw. To my defense, you said nothing on opinions, you asked directly (which states in the new player guide, and on the various websites I linked) on how to make gil.

The reason your getting so little help is due to your annoyingly frequent question, and the way you failed to ask it in a way people can understand. There are way more threads about how to make money than there needs to be, and even a nice little sticky at the very top of the FAQ forum.
Don't expect people to just dump their money making secrets all over the first (read: 6573th) person that asks about them.
P.S. Gill is not the currency of FFXI, or any FF game evar.
