I do believe, good chap, that there is in fact, a completly un-official offline version off FFXI, free for download, but however, to download/install the real, official version of FFXI you need the disk (Which you can order from http://www.playonline.com) and the codes, it's a good assumption when I say that it doesn't exist on the internet, but maybe it does on a torrent?  In the moonlight, your face it glows.. like a thousand diamonds, I suppose.
