RSE Quest

For the RSE quest where you find the patterns in the chests for Guttrix, can the quest be repeated over and over? As in if I were to sell my set, could I farm another set? FFXIcyclopedia's answer is a little vague to if its able to be repeated over or not.

u can check in this page when u can go for ur RSE
and u can only do it once for the 4 pieces so if u sell ur gear u canot get another doing this quest...only if u buy it from AH or bazar
the goblin will ask u for a Magic patern obtained from a chest in one of 3 Dungeons (Maze of Shakrami, Gusgen mines and Ordelles caves) farm the key search for ur chest and go back to Muckbix for ur reward (u can get ur 4 pieces in a single game week (7 hrs or less)

Yeah, I can see how it'd be a little confusing. Technically it's non-repeatable, but essentially you can go through the pattern hunt 4 times, once for each piece of RSE.

Personally, I prefer Gusgen Mines as the location when possible. You can check the RSE availability at MithraPride's Vana'diel Clock. Note that if you can do this as THF main, it makes things easier since you don't have to farm keys.

According to some thread on Alla, there are RMT doing just that with hundreds of deletable characters.
