Annoying Technical Problem =/
Hey everyone! I have this annoying problem that has been going on for so long and I've tried to deal with it, but I finally want to know how to solve this.

Problem: When I'm in the game and if I don't press any buttons for about probably 3 minutes or more, the FFXI screen will be minimized to my desktop and PlayOnline. It ALWAYS DOES THIS.

Example: *plays FFXI, gets up to make a sandwich, comes back on the computer, and sees that FFXI has been minimized back to the desktop and POL*

Anyone know how to solve this?

Make sure that Auto-Disconnect is set to a higher time, or set to off. I believe this is Menu > Config > Global Settings.

But the problem sometimes happen on my other Full Screen games as well.

By the way, my Auto-Disconnect is on Off.

Maybe something to do with your screensaver configuration? I can't think on anything else that has this kind of effect when you don't touch your keyboard/mouse for a set amount of time.

Right click desktop, click Properties.

It could be a hardware issue as well, especially if it's happening in other games. Any information you can give about your computer (manufacturer, hardware, etc) would be helpful.
