A few quick questions

Ok, I have a few questions.

1) Will there be any form or Player Killing (PKing)?
( I hope not. I hate being killed. )
2) What is a good starting class? I was thinking Thief, or White Mage.

3) How hard will it be to make money?

Last) Will rangers really be expensive?

Sorry if I am a "newb". I was just trying to gather some information about this game. It looks and sounds really fun. Going insane on the wait. Been waiting since, September for it.
Those journals make it look super fun.
Well thanks for any info, and or answers on these questions.

Nope, none as of yet, and everyone's happy bout it^^

Whoa!!! well. White mage would be your hardest one out of the three (no physical attack, expensive to learn magic) then theif, weaker, gets hit less tho.

3) How hard will it be to make money?
Very^^ unless you get REALLY REALLY good at ALL the guild skills and make stuff that sells for a lot, and you have a good message for your bazaar^^ (being nude if youre a female helps)

Last) Will rangers really be expensive?
Not as much as mages^^

Wow, thanks a bunch. Sounds good. I think I will go thief, or monk to make a bunch of money, then goto White Mage. Very glad I can't be PKed. I hate being PKed so much.

Is there any dueling area or something that allow you to hit someone else?

sadly no pvp, although there should be a battling arena much like ff6 and 7. think about it, u enter an arena, put down an item or cash, and go one on one with someone, winner takes all. now that would be cool

It's not a PVP type game. Added PVP would be dumb. They're probably add something like it for the US players though. They enjoy that sort of thing. *shrug*

Thieves, while they can make a pretty good amount of cash, are damn hard to level without a subjob. You'll pretty much have to target easy mobs all the way up. Oh, and you'll probably be solo more often than not. Thieves are pretty selfish classes, and don't help a PT much until 15 when they get SA.

White mages, on the other hand, are in my opinion a far nicer starting class. The first 5 levels are sorta dicey, after that it's pretty sweet. Upgrade to the bastok hammer at 5 and you'll be killing higher xp mobs than the warriors. :sweat:

At 15, my warrior could pull off a 50xp mob kill, but it's dicey and I was under 20hp after. Cleric buddy solos 100xp without any serious danger and less downtime. Takes him longer to kill it though.

Of course, as a white mage, solo really doesn't matter since you'll be beating PTs off with a stick.

Anyhow, rangers are, I think, the most expensive job. Although, some of the bard song pricies.. yeeouch.

Will we be able to change which Guild we belong to anytime like our Jobs? Or is it a choice which you make only once?
