| Junior Member  |   Has getting an Astral Ring been made any easier?
Hello, I have read the Update information, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me how, if in any way, the obtaining of an Astral Ring has changed. Thank you in Advance.

I heard it is drop by a worm type monster, not sure if it is NM or rare pop, called Glacier Eater, in one of the CoP area( Urugarunn or something in JP)... lv70-75 can take it pretty easily, and 75 can probably solo. Not sure if it is true though. |

There are many rumors. Some say it was moved to Den of Rancor, some say its an NM, some think they took em out for some reason. But, as Feenicks said, its a BCNM drop now.

depends how you look at it. for THFs its harder, but its easier for everyone else D;

Let me make sure I understand. Astral ring can no longer be found in Coffers in Oztroja. Astral ring can be found in a Burning Circle Battle. Astral ring may drop off of other monsters in other areas. - Which Burning Circle would i need to do if I wanted to get the Astral Ring drop? Thank you in advance.

They dont drop off of mobs and ive been looking, unless i missed something...

FFXI Somepage says that it drops from Balga's Dais BC50 (the Mimic one).

Ironic Indeed. Anyone can solo that one having a 1 in 3 chance of picking the right chest without having to fight :sweat: I did that one a few times way back as a little ninja, when I picked wrong chest I just blew myself up before it could eat me.
