How to revive account after 3 months?

Is there a change to revive the POL and FFXI account after 3 months (of course the characters are lost, but can you use the account again?) ?

No fee, you just re-activate your FFXI content ID, POL IDs last forever for free. Just be careful when you reactive, no matter where in the month it is, you are charged a full fee, then another on the first of the next month.

Really? People have told me that after 3 months they cancle everything and you need to buy a new game... of coarse this sounds stupid, but is it true?

POL only "guarantees" that your player information is kept for 3 months. After 3 months, all bets are off. If you attempt to reactivate, and it fails, then your information is gone and if you want to start up again, you need to buy another copy of the game with new registration codes and you will start from scratch.

They say that, but in reality it never happens. EQ says this too but I reactivated 2 years later and everything as still there hunki dori. I assume the same is pretty much for the game. I think they just make a disclaimer like that incase thier character storage drives go kaput and they have to restore everything, yours wont be restored....which is very unlikley
