I'm about to do some major leveling and have to quick questions;

1. What is the difference between;
Stamina Ring +1 with 1 DEF & 2 VIT
&
Verse Ring with 3 VIT
by what I can tell two VIT equal one DEF, so aren't both rings give the same if you have a pair of them? I believe I'm wrong, and would like to know how I'm wrong and which ring is better?

2. This will sound really dumb, but where is Crawlers Nest located?

Crawler's Nest entrance (a tunnel in the rockface) is towards the bottom left of the map in Rolanberry Fields (not near the entrance to Pashow though).

I think your Verse ring with +3vit is better given only those rings to consider.

+6 vit is basically better than +4 vit and +2 def. (+2 def is basically inconsequential, but +6 vs +4 vit as a PLD does more for you).

There's also a Verve Ring+1 with (DEF:2 VIT+3). Whether or not you think its worth the extra money is up to you. I would probably get it if I was a PLD, but I'm pretty strict about gear.

I do know about the "verse ring +1", but on my server none are for sale, and cost $170,000 each. While the verse ring is worth only $70,000, so I'm paying $100K for two DEF points for each ring. While the Stanima Ring +1 cost only $50K, so its very costly. I would really like to know what VIT does, compared to DEF, to decide if I should by verse rings, or are they the same stanima in protecting me.

Well it boils down to I think 2VIT = 1DEF, as in, if you get VIT+2 your defense in your equip screen will go up 1. That being considered, VIT is also taken into account differently when actually being hit. Supposedly at higher levels you kind of reach a peak curve in which adding much more to DEF won't benefit you as much as adding to VIT. The way somebody explained it before is that DEF is kind of a curve that reaches its peak and dies off, whereas VIT is a linear curve in that if you keep adding VIT, you will keep seeing less and less damage dealt to you. Hope this helps a little, but I'm far from expert on it. Maybe try searching the PLD forums, you might have some luck in there.
