i can't seem to type on my jp playonline

hmmm.. for some odd reason, i can't seem to type in katana, nor hiragana for my jp version of ffxi.. i can type normally on my word etc... but then when i go into the game, i try to type nothing comes out.. anyone might happen to know what's wrong with it >_<;; :confused:

I believe you need to turn your JP IME to Japanese as you are in the Playonline viewer, which which will then set the encoding to JP for FFXI.
This should allow you to type in JP.
