Content ID problem

Earlier today I went home after a class and decided to play some FFXI to kill time... I log on, no problems there, but then I get this message:

"You have no Content ID for FINAL FANTASYXI. Please purchase a new Content ID or reactivate a cancelled one in order to play the game and/or to use the Playonline services."

I panic because I didn't cancel anything at all... anyway, after a bit I calm down and realise that I just have to reactivate the Content ID... I try to do that but I get this message:

"Servers are currently down for maintenance. Please try again later.
Estimated time of completion:
3/2/2004 (TUR) 4:00 (PST)"

Ok, no problem, I'll reactivate it when the maintenance is ready but then I log on to www.playonline.com to check on any news regarding this but I see that all servers are UP!

What the hell is happening?! I don't want to lose my characters, I have more than 25 days of actual play between them...

Anybody else experience this?

Thing is servers are all up as this wont affect the game for those who has a ID. The only things that are down are the register servers so just sit tight and wait for the maintanance to finish and u should have no problem to register again..

Ah, I'm so relieved to hear that! Thanks a lot but still, I'm baffeled at how my Content ID has been deleted without any warning... :confused:

since this is right after the 1st day of the month, it could be possible that the charge to ur credit card was declined and that resulted Content ID to be cancelled.

check w/ ur cc company if that was the case. also, check the expiration date coz we can easily forget.
