PS2 online and Dial-up

Ok when FFXI comes out on the ps2 my question is will it be possible to play online with the PS2 usuing dial-up?if it is possible, how would this work?

Buy PS2 online adapter

Plug in modem port into phone jack.

Run network disc that comes with online adapter.

Input your ISP info.

It will now be able to connect online.

ffxi is dial up compatable as well as broadband so no worries
