Dial-Up with FFXI

I have dial-up. We cant get DSL. Is it worth it to play FFXI on dial-up or is it way too slow?

i just made this topic, it's about 5 posts down from this one.

most people say it's plenty worth it, also you can search and find like 10 topics on dial up, and it's pretty much agreed dial up is pretty good with the game

The game play is fine only thing is on updates that will take your time. just read up and be prepared to let it update over night at times.

i play on dial up and it seems plenty fast enuff
it seemed like on bros cable certain things loaded up faster and what not but you have no problem doing anything on dial up, unless ur isp likes to take a shit like mine does every so often
