I know this is gonna sound stupid but oh well. Well, a couple weeks ago i and installed everything and had all my id's and passwords but my computer broke and it took about a week for them to come here and fix it. Once it was fixed i had to reinstall playonline and ffxi. Once i was done i was about to log in but found out I lost all my passwords and id's:mad: . So now i dunno what to do......i can't just try and make new id's because i can only use my registration code once. So i was thinking of calling service and support to see if i can get em back but today's sunday and i can't call in and i don't even know if i can get it back. So, does anyone know of a way to get it back (I've tried looking on the playonline website in Q&A but no one has the same problem as me) or will calling service and support help???? Anyway, if anyone can help i would really appreciate it. |

For future reference: Always make sure to write down your important ID's and PW's like this. There's a spot you can write it in the back of the manual for FFXI, even, as a "just in case" measure. Anyways. Calling should help. I'm sure SE can get you your ID and Pass back, you'll just need to give them a few bits of information along with the CC number you used to subscribe with. Aside from that - maybe try emailing them? I'm not sure what their service and support hours are as far as email goes. They might try to offer 24 hour support via email. Their responses are quick, from what I've seen. Aside from that, if you're really desperate, you could always have a super-close friend contact a GM with your CC number and other information, but I don't even know if they have that kind of information to give out. Good luck!

You can't e-mail them about account info, they say on the website they can't answer account questions via. e-mail. I lost my info thanks to my HD going belly up on me, and I had to call them to get it back. I did remember my PW, so all I needed was my ID, and I was able to get that really easy. The POL CSR asked me my address and my birthday (I think), and then gave my my ID. Was really fast, I was probably on the phone for 5 minutes. The PW might be a problem, I think the site says that they will never give out your PW, but I havent tried to get mine so I don't know. |
