question about changing jobs.

I changed job from Whitemage to Redmage today for a quest, and when I changed back to Whitemage I kept my previous Whitemage level. Does that mean that you could, for exemple, have Whitemage level 70, Blackmage level 70 and whatsoever job level 70, letting you choose between those jobs wich one you want to play? That would mean that in the end, everyone could master all jobs and choose each time they visit their moogle wich job they want to play.. Correct me if I am wrong.

you can switch jobs any time you stop at your Mog house. your job does not lose its level when you switch to another job.

you could master all jobs, but i suspect that would take some time.
