Yup yup. More out of necessity than anything else. I've already got friends playing it, though and I somehow have to get them all on one server before March 31st. Here's hoping for Worldshifters...

I am waiting for it for the playstation 2 yea it seems like a long wait indeed it is but not that long considering this year is almost over

I'm also waiting for the PS2 release..and yeah its true that its only comming out t'ill march, but i'm sure its well worth the wait(and it's not that long either!)

and felpa_de_osa, are those really the days that for the ps2 release?

Im waiting for March as well. Im a little unhappy though that they released the two versions at different times. I would much rather want to start with everyone then have half play now and the other half wait 4 months... Its driving me nuts too cuz all my friends are playing it and constantly talking about it and im left out... (This is the part of my therapy where i take baseball bat to computer screen...but cant do it cuz need to see what im typing...)

I miss this game so much I even made a website and finished it aleady for an LS I'm going to start 5 months from now...sigh. I guess these are the side effects of playing Beta FFXI...

come on, everquest, that game is sad, my mate plays it, thats all he ever does but yeah the games not out here yet, its coming out in eirly in the new year :mad:

Sony can't protect thier game forever, they have to release the hard disk drive by thier contract with Square-Enix in March or it's going to be hell to pay for Sony from both Square-Enix and fans that are waiting for the game.

By the time they release the HD, they will have already released EQ2 - which people may prefer, seeing as the game is much newer - and EQ customers may prefer to just get the sequel to their own game. It's all about timing.

Why don't you guys just upgrade your computers in the meantime and get it for that? The graphics are MUCH nicer, and it doesn't cost that much to upgrade. Not including a monitor I can make a pretty sweet machine for under $700.
