I know that it is possible to change kingdom allegiance, but I have a few questions about specifics. 1) Is there any cost in doing so? In gils, reputation points from your other country or conquest points? 2) Can you switch at will? For example, you want to buy a specific conquest item, so you switch country, get the item and switch back to your old kingdom? Or for example to be able to have Crysta casted on when in a separate kingdom? 3) If you do return to your old kingdom, do you possess your same standing as before? Thanks!

1) Cost is 7000 Gil (at least it was at rank 5 when I looked). Perhaps this changes as your rank increases? As of the July patch, you no longer lose your CP when you switch allegience. So... if you are Windurst Rank 5 with 16000CP, you can switch to San d'Oria and start at Rank 1 with 0CP. If/when you switch back to Windurst you return exactly as you left, as if you never changed. Your fame is determined by the quests you have done in that nation, and is not effected by Rank or CP, so you should notice no difference in shop prices or sales rates to NPCs. 2) Yeah, as far as I know, you can switch as many times as you want, for 7k each. Certainly cheaper than buying the item at auction usually, however, you'll have to build up the CP as a member of that nation, ultimately hurting your own nation's conquest. 3) see above |

How can you switch kingdoms? I started out in San d'Oria and now want to lvl around Bastok. I've talked to the guards all they tell me is about buying conquest items.

To switch allegiance you go to Bastok and go to the Presidents office area. In the same building as the Presidents office there are two rooms. Go to the one on the right and talk to one of the three ppl behind the desk and theyll let you switch providing you have enough money (Rank 1 is 40000 gil and the price lowers as you rank).

I leveled up my char from windhurst to lvl 5. I then went to metal works to change allegiance, but they still said it was 40K! Did they change this from the beta? Is it because Bastok is #1 on my server right now? |

For the guy who wanted to know about Windurst, I found this out while playing around last week... To change allegiance to Windurst, enter Heaven's Tower in Windurst Walls and proceed to the second floor, (I think you have to click on a door or take a teleporter, I forget which). In one of the rooms up there is a long countertop with three Tarutaru behind it. That's your destination. No idea how much it costs, but one of them mentioned "citizenship" when I spoke to them. I think that may also be where Worldpasses are purchased. Good luck, and please reply when you get the exact information. |

Goob3r, its rank not lvl. You need to get your rank up to lower the price. Not your lvl. Well youll need to get your lvl up to do the missions to get your rank up... but rank is the direct way.

I talked to the npc in windurst and they said I cant switch because I have an unfinished mission. Is there any way to delete a mission? I really am not looking forward running all the way back to Bastok just to move |

cost to change the allegiance depends on the conquest rank of the country u wish to move to; if the counquest rank is; 1st - 40,000 2nd - 12,000 3rd - 4,000 i don't know how the rank afffects the cost, so if it was 7k for Mithrael indeed, 1 rank increases 1.5k? i don't know.
