How can you get gil and are there easier ways to get it?

I wanted to know, but can you get gil by killing enimies and if you can do you recieve a lot because I heard that gil is rare in the game. Also is there an easier way to get or earn gil?

There are many ways of making money(gil).
You can go to places like ghelsba or the mines in bastok and kill all the enemies and sell their items...
such as the quadav shells and equip they drop.

2 if you are skilled in guilds (which takes lots of money to raise ) you can sell those items you create on ah , bazaar or shops

Good, I wouldn't be any of those classes hehe. I've just been thinking of going to be Warrior or Monk. Either way they are good to me.

the best and most efficient way to make gil in my opinion is to be a thief and steal gil as well as items, then selling them.

Most missions give you a decent amount of money also.

but, still, the most efficient way is like what Nadyxes said, kill monster which drop armor and sell them to NPC. one round trip i think you can get about 5k+ gil with lvl 7 and lvl 10 armor

why are bard and mage most expensive? cause they have to buy thier songs and spells? or is there any other reason?

Well for mages their spells are expensive, heard they're cheaper in Windurst. Might be the same for bards, expensive songs to buy.
