Oy, here I am! Sorry I've been off the site for a couple days. I don't check FFXIOnline all the time, and had to figure out which email address my profile was linked to (couldn't remember my password).

But I've got everything settled in now. If you all have questions about fishing, feel free to fire them off here.

icemage im 35 fishing now with 2000/10,000 on lu shang's ^^
Still not sure what to do next between leather crafting and fishing. I already got 73 leather right now but I want to start working on fishing guild points too

hard choice.

Go with the leathercrafting items first. Fishing GP items are handy, but not as critical as synthcrafting items (with possibly the exception of the Fisherman's Apron, since it does something unique). Also note that fishing is the only craft that does NOT count against your total points over 60, so raising fishing won't impact your leathercraft at all.
