I got one of those 15 min battery chargers and it works pretty good. Now I need to get more of the 15 Minute Batteries since my old rechargibles aren't compatible. I remember once I had a rechargible battery pack for the wii that I bought from Circuit City, and that thig NEVER worked. It was so garbage and I was sad that I lost the receipt.

I have a PS2->PS3 USB Adapter. I've been using my PS2 Dual Shock on it for at least 2 years. The only thing that sucks is that you can't use the SixAxis. I had been playing InFamous and when I got to the place that I could use that controllable lightning attack, I couldn't hit a damn thing. I ended up having to unplug it and switch to a PS3 controller lol.

@Solymir: If your controllers break so often you might want to consider a PS2 -> USB adapter. Great investment. For $20 you can plug in 4 PS2 controllers. I've been using the same controllers since I got my PS2 so many years ago.

Screw that, I bought a Game Stop brand 360 controller for 25$. and have never been happier with a PC controller. Its alittle louder then most controllers, but if you wear headphones or have your sound turned up, it wont matter anyway.

I have found that a PS2 controller on PC, is a bit unresponsive, where as even the GS brand 360 controller, is feathery goodness.

It is worth it. I used to use on all the time until I played as Rdm. Used way too many macros for the controller lol. Macro system with controllers is too laggy.

Re: FFXIV Real time battle?

I got the charging bay with two usb slots on the side. I charge my Socom headset and a backup headset on the two slots along with my 2 controllers so I don't have to leave my PS3 on.

Unresponsive how? I've used my PS2 controller for FFXI, NES, SNES, Genesis, PSX, GBA, and a little bit of DS emulation, and I've NEVER had problems. You can't do Super Metroid glitches/sequence breaking or 100 point Mega Man Zero runs on an unresponsive controller.

Also I'll take the smaller, cheaper PS2 controller over an X-Box controller any day. Fuck XBox's D-Pad and backwards button naming conventions. But to each his own, eh?

HEh. Thats the main reason why I hate the Xbox controller. Its the same thing as a PS3, but is bigger and the D-Pad and Joysticks are backwards XD. Its a bit Klunky too IMO.

Re: FFXIV Real time battle?

I can deal with it. I prefer the ps controllers of course. They're small and comfy.

Dualshock 2 has the best D-Pad ever made.

<. < worst is a toss-up between the original Xbox (I'm talking that gargantuan mofo it launched with) and the Dreamcast. Good lord MVC2 did a number on my thumbs...

ok I am confused now.... huge? the controller I have in my hand right now is not that big, but yeah your right about the D-pad/stick placement, to each his own ;p I happen to like the 360 over the PS2/PS3 on that aspect.

Re: FFXIV Real time battle?

I think Trogdor's battle is more real-time than FFXIV.

So not to worry,

yeah in response to what I was saying, and I was talking about the 360 controller. The original X-box controller sucked hard ;p

Armando was talking about how the PS2 controller is smaller, true if you compare it to an original X-box controller, but untrue, if you compare it to a 360 controller.
