Well, I know a lot of people would get the game still just because the 360 really lacks a new mmo....and for the simple fact that it's FF...

From my understanding, the concept of MMOs on consoles is relatively new. Off hand, the only ones I can think of are EOA, PSO/PSU(which may be stretching it for some) and FFXI. It wasn't until this current generation that MMOs on consoles became a common and viable idea. So it's not like Xbox is completely left out on it's own as they currently do have access to two of the four console MMOs.

The problem is they won't be getting too many new ones because of their absurd and ridiculous online policies. MMO makers are not going to want to abide by MS's rules if it means alienating potential players, which more often then not it does. It's nobody's fault but Microsoft if they lack MMOs because they're the ones who refuse to budge.

You also have DC coming out with an mmo on PS3, then Sony made mmo that's out for PS3, and they're talking about releasing APB for 360....

And another EQ port is in development. But there is another 360-PS3-PC game coming out too. By Tribune games I believe.

there's this GTA like MMO coming out as a 360 exclusive too but I forgot the name and where I saw it. I think it was on joystiq.

Oh yeah, I remember seeing the trailer for that game. I'm also interested in MAG for the PS3, 200+ people online at one time could only be carnage. MAG may not be considered a MMO but still it is massive with online multiplayer.

This dude at gamestop is real cool with me for some reason and so he gave me a beta key and I pre-ordered MAG, so I should have another one coming to my e-mail. If I do, you can have the beta key. I have to wait till 10-12 to join in though.

Also another thing is the FFXIV will not have voice and on xbox we can chat that to me is worth the $4.16 more amonth it would be cause of mt 50$ a year fee... really it is dumb that they cant work somthing out

let the payers chose if they want it or not and i know many that do want it on xbox

Or you could use Vent or Teamspeak for free on pc. My linkshell and I had a couple of fun days chatting over TS while we were bored. Playing music and random sound effects while talking and what not.

That is another good point, you can only talk to other people who have it on 360. By the time the 360 market comes around for XIV, the majority will own it on another system which is exactly what happened to FFXI.
