Ok, that was unfounded. But still, I don't see where you're pulling this from.

Either way it's a tremendous step up from the POS we like to call a user interface. It'd be almost impossible to make it worse than XI's unless they literally started coding with the goal of making it worse.

Well, I have both a pretty good PC and a PS3 and I'm hoping to be able to run it on both. I just hope the connection speed will be better than it was for FFXI on my PS3 jesus christ. Updates that took 20 minutes on my PC took up to 3 hours on my PS3...

I also need to get a new Keyboard >.>

I have no doubt my PC will run this game. And if not, well, I upgrade parts once a year anyway.

Before XIV was announced I already told my husband that next years tax check is going to building me a new up to date computer...........THANK GOD! I would rather play on PC but I do have a couple PS3's too so it really doesn't matter. I just want a new damn computer because my main computer is a HOLY PIECE OF SHIT!

Probably because I've only had cursory glances at the WoW interface and heard that there have been a few MMOs that supposedly mimicked the interface and it wouldn't surprise me to see SE step in line with that standard.

I actually don't mind the FFXI interface aside from the learning curve(read:"brick wall") and a few things with the targeting system.

Playing this on the PS3 is so much more appealing to me. Whatever, if updates take awhile. Overall, I know I get to run this game smoothly, don't have to buy any upgrades or whatever for PC, and it will look fucking amazing on a big screen TV.
