| Fadra made a doodle!
I'm in the process of completing a work of my self-named character, a female Elvaan and resident of Bastok. Things are going good and my tablet is behaving today, so within the—ehh, what time is it?—next four hours, I should be finished. That is, unless I suddenly become narcoleptic. I apologize if you cannot access the image, or if it's size is far too high for your resolution. I have my monitor set to 1280x1024, so you'll have to forgive me. I only have her base anatomy complete (save for those little feetsies down there and a couple fingers), and she doesn't have her armor sketched in yet, but don't worry: it isn't vulgar or sexual in nature. I'm debating having her seated on a flight of stone steps, the back of a wagon, or atop the fountain in the center of the Bastok Markets. Please give me your thoughts. I'd really appreciate it. Man, you're really good. Seriously. I'm loving that lineart. Personally, I can't imagine stone steps that big. I think she'd look good sitting on the fountain.

Thank you. I was a bit partial towards the fountain, myself, but ... sticking her atop there would make her look like the Bastokian welcoming committee. Or a bouncer. One of the two. Flex those muscles, elf!

If that were the Bastokian Welcoming Committee, I wouldn't mind going to Bastok every now and then. By the way, you win big time for being able to draw muscular women well. Like I said, I'm loving it <3

I've been sketching out her armor; however, all that I have to go off of is a few miniscule thumbnails, and I'm far too lazy to boot up XI for exact details. I'm a little sad that Fadra is losing her muscle anatomy as I draw more atop her, but it isn't polite to greet people at the home point wearing underoos.

I've always thought Elvaan have bigger ears... but it looks very good. No I don't have a ear fetish.

Ear fetishist! I'm relatively complete with the armor. Unfortunately, my lack of energy is catching up with me. This will have to wait until later, from when on I'll start coloring. I know: my lineart looks sketchy or incomplete, hardly enough for a good base on a CG. Have faith, though. I know what I'm doing.

I apologize for making two posts in a row. I've finally finished coloring Fadra, but have yet to work on the background. Just the thought of doing it is giving my hands Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. I'm pleased with the results, though the rows of rectangles on the scale mail were really irritating me. I decided to be lazy as I colored my way down the body, fumbling my pen by the time I was working on her boots, but— Ehh, I like it. It's one of my better colorings. I just noticed a lack of shading on the buckles. I'll have to fix that in a little while. Oh, well. Enjoy! Please give me feedback! /claps for herself!

No apologies necessary, Fadra. Great work! My first FFXI character was that model. True story.

Damn. You paint as well as you draw. My only nitpick is that her breasts are too defined around the bottom considering she's wearing scale armor. Other than that, it's fantastic. I love how you do the shading and lighting.

Just took a shower and I felt so fantastic that I began another drawing. This one's going to be a beach scene, with Fadra and a currently unnamed Taru-taru finishing the construction of a sandcastle. I'm debating throwing a Hume or a Mithra or whatever in with them for kicks, seeing as the foreground's looking a little sparse. The Taru-taru looks like he just inspected their work and is pleased with the results. I love it. Yay for bathing suits! I apologize for making two posts in a row again. Added a Mithra, but there's an empty space between her and Fadra. I tried moving them around, but it's not the same. We need another male up in there. I'm thinking ... male Hume. Yes. A blondie. Heh-heh-heh.
