To keep from getting the "Rate the person above you's signature" thread from getting off topic, making this thread =P

Good idea. Plus I don't want anyone rating my sorry excuse for a sig right now.

1/10. Too many tens, I think you're trying to use subliminal messaging to get people to rate it higher. |

| Re: Signature discussion ![]() I'm still playing around with the concept you and Taskmage got me working on yesterday. No go yet though. I'll post the current version when I get a chance.

Yeah, i'm trying to think of how to make the sig long and narrow, while keeping you in the shot. I'm thinking maybe rotating your character model would do it.

I'd love an action shot (like Kirsteena's but not as large, obviously) but quite frankly I'm just not quite at that point in my Photoshop knowledge to do it.

I'd like some help finding a site so I can customize a sig or a site with cool sigs... Because I have none @_@ I give myself a 0/10 until I get a sig lol. Can someone please post me a good site? Preferably of Job/Race kind of things

If you want to work with actual images, and not just things like Vanaguide Siganture, you're gonna have to learn how to at least use an image editing program, like Photoshop or GIMP.

You can try using paint, but it won't be pretty. Here's some ones I made with paint, modelviewer, and random images: ![]() ![]() ![]() And then the *first* sig I made in photoshop: |

I'm just lazy right now, don't feel like making a FFXI sig/avatar. So in the meantime, I just took some random thing I said in FFXI. XD Feba, that looks like GIMP work in your siggy. Is it?

| Re: Signature discussion
actually the one in my sig now was just a game screenshot cropped and given a border in photoshop. The one i'm about to put in until I get something better was from photoshop, with the image duplicated, the bottom layer having a 2px gaussain blur put on it, and the top layer reduced to around 43% transperency. It's a trick a friend of mine taught me for getting out pixelation without overblurring. |

Ah, I figured that was a light glare you used ~ havn't been to that point in the game. Ooh, good idea for the pixel bluing. ^^ Until my lazy self becomes unlazy, I am just putting something I made a few months ago up. ^^

| Re: Signature discussion this from the original thread, little thing I worked on.Anyone have an idea of how to get a more uniform position on the text? Photoshop kept trying to anchor it. |
