I'm working on getting my BFA in Graphic Design at Bradley University (currently a junior). Theeennn... I plan to get my MA in Illustration (which is what I love to do).

What kind of comic? Like, FFXI based or something else?

My friend works as a graphics artist as has a comic that really looks like it was influenced by the band The Gorrilaz, in terms of style and artwork.

I want to do a few different kinds.

One based on my day to day life as an artist. (cuz the strangest things happen to me).
One based on my mithra in FFXI. It'd be chibi style.
~these two would be comic strip style. 3-4 small panels done once a week

Then I also have ideas for an actual manga style book. (But, I'm too lazy to ink a whole book and too poor to buy deleter screens imported from Japan) I should look for digitial screen tone. That'd make my life happy. ^^

I love comics like that. I hope you get around to doing that some time, be sure to post it here.^^

I definately will. ^^ I have an idea for one strip based on the quest for the Opo Opo crown. But I think I'll save that and go back to the beginning of when I first started playing... A little like the comic Lvl-up, except less detailed. xD

That's great that your studying to be an illustrator, you've definitely got alot of talent in that department. So are you planning on becoming a illustrator in books, comics, animation?

Btw, I too am an aspiring artist... well architect actually (getting my portfolio ready for RISD and Pratt), I draw cartoons every now and then (not anime, I suck when it comes to drawing the body and eyes ), but even those are nowhere near as good as your drawings!

One last thing, maybe you could draw some pics that Gulkeeva could use in his sigs/avatar... if you know what I mean .... just j/k

I do mostly freelance illustration at the moment, but eventually I'd like to do illustrations for gaming books like DnD, Palladium, or maybe draw my own manga one of these days. I always seem to get sidetracked and can never focus on doing a manga. Too many things to do lately.

My earliest anime that I drew was based off of Sailormoon. Everything looked the same, but eventually I broke out of that style and more into my own over the years. But I learned the basics of drawing anime eyes from copying Sailormoon eyes.

And, Gulkeeva from Hades? I could draw something for him ^^
