Anime Expo '05

Okay, so I'm not really new here, but my account is kinda spazzed out. *haven't been here in a long while*

But the Anime Expo has just passed, July 1-4, and I was a proud supporter of the FFXI Gathering for Cosplayers.

Here are some cool pics from it:

Be amazed!! The FFXI Gathering at 12 on Saturday.

Mwa fwa...

Re: Anime Expo '05

I think the girl in the far left of group pic #2 is Yuna from FFX...wrong group for her lol.

woah, pretty cool, I didn't have time this year to drop by, i heard it wasn't as good as previous years, i've been going to anime expo since 1998, missed 2 consecutive years so far. LOL. Looks like some people still had lot of fun. Where was it this year? Long beach or anahiem?

Re: Anime Expo '05

It was actually better this year.. I wasn't able to go to the Allakazam FFXI meeting, but there were a decent amount of FFXI people there. And this year had more FFXI Cosplayers than last year. ^_^ It was in Anaheim. ~_~v As it shall always beeeeeee...... Long Beach was just a temporary thing. ^_^v Can't wait for next year.

And the girl on the far left is actually from FF12. You know how that chick kinda looks like yuna, and the other main character is like... Tidus' son or something.

Re: Anime Expo '05

I think the best looking cosplayer (costume wise) was the Ninja. All the rest seemed out of character...maybe cause they were just fat =P

Hope your Anime Expo wasn't like the one we had in Canada, we had yaoi and yuri going on all over the place. While I don't mind yuri (long as it's decent looking girls, I'm not shallow, I'm just honest) I don't like seeing two guys lick each other. >,<!

Wow, that uhh... Mithra? Cosplayer looks creepy. It's like a Mithra but turned Gothic or something....

Uhh, Shiro by the definition of shallow you might want to admit you were being shallow. >.>

shallow - lacking depth of intellect or knowledge; concerned only with what is obvious.

Maybe you just need glasses or if you have them a stronger prescription. I didn't see a "fat" one among them.

Re: Anime Expo '05

Outfits in Animes and Videogames were never meant to be worn in the real world...

There I said it.

EDIT: However.. if you like it.. and it keeps you sane.. do it..

Re: Anime Expo '05

I dressed up as Spock for the opening of the very first Star Trek movie. (You got in free if you did. LOL) I never had my picture taken so many times in my life. LOL Other than Halloween, no dressing up for me. But I do enjoy seeing young people do it. It makes me smile. But note that I said YOUNG people. I've seen some older women and men that do it and......just kill me now.

Yes I know but...if I were to say "I like fat people" or "I don't think fat people are not attractive" that would be lying. So I'm being shallow and honest? Works for me =P

And GrandMom, maybe you need to get your glasses checked, in our world thanks to the media, some of those people are..fat! Besides, only fat people I've seen in Final Fantasy XI are Galka, but then..they're just really muscular.
