yeah, I was down at AX2k4, thing is I saw like 20+ (no bullshit) RDMs. I saw none of any other class while I was down there. Its like how you'll see 300 Faye (and 1 man-faye, so help me god) from CBB and not one Spike.

errr? I don't see what is wrong with dressing up as an FFXI or anime character...at an anime convention. Sometimes, the point of watching anime or playing a game is to take a break from real life. These people come down for a 4 day a year vacation to an anime convention, when cosplay is highly encouraged. Why should they not dress up as an anime/game char?

I went to anime expo 2004, and if I had actually planned the trip in advance like I was going to, I may have made myself some sort of a costume for the masquarade.

Its not like these people are dressing like that everyday on the streets. They just do it for an anime convention where people think its cool to dress up like this, and many people ask for pictures

Maybe you're just not into messing around.
