Carmine Dobsonfly - All Possible Information or Help please?

Lately, I've gotten tired of my mercenary captain's headgear for my 53DRG. Until I can get the valkure/walkure mask(s) and/or my AF's headset (which on't be until Lvls 56-60 I believe?), I need something that'll do in the meantime. I came across the Voyager Sallet as well as the Carmine Dobsonfly that drops it. All three drops look decent to me.

My problem is I've never even been to the Tavnazian Archipelago. I don't even know how to get there. So, what all information on this stuff that could help me get the Voyager Sallet I would appreciate. (I figured I'd put it in the Fairy server forum if anyone wouldn't mind helping me sometime next week.)

Ehh... damn! >< I've yet to finish the Promies aside from Dem (Mea/Holla I need). Thanks for the information though.

This NM (or NM's as I should say) is located in Riverne Site A01. So you need to have done the three promy-spire boss fights, and the Phom(sp) Aqueducts mission to have access.


Once you are able to enter Riv A01 you need to get to the area where you zone into the ENM's of that area. The Carmine Dobs are there. There are up to 10 flies (i beleive) and they all link no matter what. So you will have 10 NM files beating on your tank.....

We used SMN's (astral flow) and BST's that had charmed IT flies (and Familiar them) in the area just before you get to the NM's. I've done it with 2 SMN's and a BST. We died, but not before we were able to kill a few of them (and get the drops we were looking for-lol suicide mission).

I got the ring for my drk, and I still use it for tp build, probly will stay on till I get a Rajas ring.
