Dear Users,

It is both an honor and pleasure to give this address as the newly appointed director of FINAL FANTASY XI.

With the commencement of official service for FINAL FANTASY XIV imminent, the period ahead will prove to be a turning point for FINAL FANTASY XI. I have had the privilege of being part of the team since the project commenced some ten years ago, but to assume the mantle of leadership at this juncture is daunting indeed.

As director, I intend to work in close cooperation with all project members and involved parties to ensure that FINAL FANTASY XI will continue to hold allure for our players. For truly, nothing would please me more than to see Vana'diel remain a gathering place for those seeking high adventure and camaraderie.

I look forward to your continued support in the future.

Dear god some of these are just awesome. Really honestly don't care for the Jester hat for PUP, but daaaamn SAM is epic (they're going with the FF5 look) as are THF & DRG.

I'm kinda surprised they're going with the Assassin's Creed look for THF, but I don't mind. Honestly this is (barring PUP) some of the best looking AF yet. MNK is a little bland but oh well, and while PLD & BLM aren't shown at all, we've already seen their models from Vana'fest. Oh yeah, and the Abyssea zones are Miseraux Coast, Attoawa Chasm and Vunkerl Inlet (wtf past Abyssea zone?)

I am getting the FFXIV collector's edition though, which comes with an authenticator for FFXIV. I have my PlayOnline account linked with my SquareEnix ID. If I use the authenticator for FFXIV, does anyone know if it will work on FFXI automatically as well, or if each game has their own authenticator? Well I decided to log into the game on my 360, and since my password was updated, it failed (since I had my password saved and set to auto-sign me in). I went in and updated my password and got an incorrect password message. I tried again, and it still failed, until it locked me out. I tried again and I got fails again, so I made sure by logging into SquareEnix's FFXI site for account management, and got in fine. I even got into the SquareEnix ID system fine as well, it's just my 360 that won't log me on.

I was thinking of uninstall/re-installing the game, but that was a ridiculous hassle, so hoping to avoid that. Powers and riches beyond yer wildest dreams await ye. An' other things not quite so pleasant. Things that aren't like t' take kindly to ye runnin' off with their spoils - or with yer life...

A crazed glint flickers across the old man's eye. Oh yes, well does he know Abyssea, he mutters. Take him at his word, and he himself is a refugee from that sunless, Goddess-forsaken realm. A fortunate soul - if such a phrase can be used - who escaped the clutches of fell hordes that tore comrades and loved ones from his grasp. Desperately he fled across the shattered, barren landscape before stumbling into the gaping maw of darkness that led him to this realm...

Me home...it's dyin'. And these old bones are long past their days o' playin' hero. But ye, young one...ye might be just the salve that Abyssea needs...

I hadn't noticed because I had been using their javascript clock from local files on my laptop. My main motivation was to fix the Marble Bridge table, but I never got around to adding new ship tables, etc.

Anynow, I've zipped it all up, and if your browser isn't total crap it should run fine from your hard drive.
