Chocobos slowing down?

Since the last update my Choco has been running a good two stats slower than she should

She was retired with Impressive Str/End and for the longests time she could easily outrun the Stable Birds. But since the update Stable birds just zip right past. Has anyone else had this issue?

I've already wasted 500 gil trying to reregister her but that didn't change anything..

I've had to recharge my whistle three times and I am raising a red chick that just hit teen stage last night.

So did SE incrase the stable birds' stats with the last update? Was there maybe a bug that dropped my choco's stats in the last update? or does a retired Chocobo grow weaker after so much time?

It's probably a bug. You might want to report it or something.

mine is impressive too and the rental blew by me ;.; i'm thinking that since they released the race track and since its SOO easy to go to firstclass i think theird gonna put more lvles in the birds that will be harder to obtain. because face it.. most eerone who is gonna enter the race track will probubly be first class.. where is the fun in that?

SE did not originally plan for breeding chocobos.

For whatever reason (hardware limitation?), Flee and rental chocobo speed are the fastest speed possible in the game.

Which means that a bred chocobo can never exceed the speed of rental chocobos. Each rank of STR has 32 levels. 8 ranks, 0-255 levels. First-Class STR @ 255 equals the speed of rental chocobos. If you see yourself going faster than a rental chocobo, it's because the other person is lagging (happens all the time on my laptop) or the other person is using their own bred chocobo.

If the speed limitation is a physical limitation, there are few options for SE:

1) Update hardware/software so speed can be increased (doubtful given the probable expense).

2) Lower the speed of rental chocobos (and make everyone else in the game very very angry).
