Chocobo Love Sickness?

Okay heres my thought. I'm wondering if the options you use when you care for your chocobo doesn't affect when your chocobo becomes love-sick. Such as, your chocobo gets love sick by seeing another chocobo while out on a walk.

Got this idea when my bird was finally cured from his 5 day love-sickness only to be love-sick again the very next day.

So, if you remember if you used any care options that invole interacting with another chocobo on the day before your chocobo gets love-sick, please vote. I'm hoping that some remember so I can get results, but if not I've at least given something to think about I hope.

I read that celerity salad can rid the love sick status the next day. I usually just leave it like that and do my normal care routine tho. Doesn't seem to affect anything for me. It usually gets back to normal in 3 days at most.

I just wait it out, my current bird was lovesick his
first day as an adult, lasted 3 days, then 2 days later, lovesick again,
lasted 2 days. I don't do anything special, just continue normal routine
and normal diet.

Wow, you folks are lucky on the lovesickness ... one of my birds has been lovesick for at least 9 days, and the other is coming up on four, and neither has had any sign of it going away yet.

Mine is lovesick right now, and its been like that since Saturday. I gave chococards to others but it hasn't helped. So I'm trying to trade my Chococard (M) for an Chococard (F). I don't plan on using the egg if it comes out (because my chocobo is only on day 45 and I'm trying to cap discernment and slowly work on endurance).

Since I've been experimenting on my chocobo, I've just had her set to Basic Care for almost all her adult life. (It's day 72 for her.) She suddenly developed a case of Lovesickness the day after I set her to "Carry Packages". Now I'm setting her to a few days of "Interact with Chocobos" and hope that improving her Receptivity will cure her.

My husband has been working his chocobo very hard at "Digging for Treasure" and his chocobo was Lovesick for weeks. He tried everything except for Celerity Salad. Finally, he set her onto several days of "Act in a Play" and she was cured. Now he alternates between the 2 Care Plans and so far she hasn't been Lovesick again.

(I tried to vote "neither" in the Poll, but I got a "you do not have privileges" error.)

I just checked on my chocobo and she's cured of her Lovesickness for whatever reason. I have no idea why so here's what happened yesterday.

She was on Basic Care until I switched her to Carry Packages for a couple of days.
After the first Packages cutscene (success, 200 gil), she was suddenly Lovesick.

Foods fed: 2x Carrot Paste, San d'Orian Carrot, Azouph Green

Direct Care: Watch x20

Today after the Packages cutscene (failure, 100 gil), she was suddenly cured.

HAHA yeah, I can't vote either, or do anything to the poll. No Idea what the hells going on.

But yeah, I was wondering if there isn't some specific trigger to lovesickness. Seems peculiar to me that he can be cure and get sick again the very next day unless theres something that you have to trip to make it happen.

Well, I can at least update and say that the chocobo who has been lovesick the shorter period of time has now healed, but my other is still moping around. I don't understand what causes it or what, but I guess nature must run its course in order to get rid of it.
