Chocobo Whistle Walkthrough

So, let me get this straight:

You can register your chocobo for riding, which will freeze his/her particular stats for riding only, but you can continue raising the chocobo as usual?

Exactly, and you can re-register it when its stats change.

So basicaly they make a cybernetic clone of your choco which copies all the stats your choco has at the time of registering, so if you wanna update the stats you gotta re-register it, eh?

And I thought Cardians were as far as robots would go in Vana.

What can I do now to get a Whistle?

Okay quick question, with raising a second chocobo, how can you tell if the whistle is calling the new bird rather than the old one? I am about 6 days from being able to register the new bird so I am hoping to get an answer before then.

Only get the handerkerchief quest if you haven't completed on second bird, I never got a new quest for that since I have a whistle already.

ok.. i have a question x.x

I registred my choco for a mount, got the whislte, etc. It all works.

Ok, so i called my chocobo, it worked i rode him around.

Then, I was in West Altepa Desert, and when I tried to call him, the bar goes to about 8% and stops... whats wrong? The timer is at 0:00 when I used it. I died today cause this happened >.>

After I died though, it worked fine.

Is it that you can't have any hate on you when you use the whistle? The mob was currently slept. v.v;

This needs to be changed by SE in the next available update.

Ever thought they might have had Outpost warping in mind when they did this? Lots of OP's don't have a choco stable near them so it can make for a long walk.
