-Issue whereby the sky is not displayed, or game becomes inoperable after talking to a VCS trainer. (Playstation 2 version only)

That'd be an annoying glitch, I have to imagine.

Very. Though I've only had it happen once and it was just the sky going black, but it was kinda strange.

Re: Chocobo Raising Issue (PS2ver only)
Actually, I've experienced that glitch. Yesterday morning, I was checking on my chick, and had to run to my MH to grab the ingreds to synth him some paste. As I left the stables, my sky was black. I thought little of it. If I sit still in Aht Urghan Whitegate or Al Zhabi long enough, the same thing happens, and the sky eventually returns on its own, or returns after zoning. I figure its a lag/processing issue in the PS2 trying to handle the insane amounts of people coming and going in there.

Anyway, so I left the stables and my sky was black and I ignored it. Halfway to my MH the game simply *jams*. Like old school cartridge based system jams. Frozen. It's happened randomly before, (and that was only twice, once was a heat issue.) So... I reset, logged back in, hasn't happened since.

When I first read the news update, I had my hopes up that it was going to address the eternally sleeping chocobo issue. I can't imagine an unwakable choco as being intentional.

That's already starting to be debunked, just simply people freaking out without understanding the system's mechanics. Many who have sleeping chocobo's are starting to see them wake up.

Yeppers. All of the people who were just yesterday freaking out about it in-game are now like "Oh. Well, I guess it's not dead."

Lol, I half expected as much because some of the plans the NeoPets and Tamogachi had placed in stuff to throw people for a loop here and there. I mean one of those toys was intentionally designed were the pet would "run away" and took about 3 earth weeks of calling for it before he'd show up again.

I know on that one people thought it was bugged and gave up on it. The pet raising type games are often a tiny bit harsher then reality would be. It's a great show of responsibility though, if someone can keep one those pets in excellent health then shows they are capable for a real life pet as well.

Re: Chocobo Raising Issue (PS2ver only)
I've seen the black sky thing, but ONLY in Whitegate. I think I've seen it three times, and my LS didn't believe me at first. lol But a few others have come across it as well. Looks really weird and spooky.

Re: Chocobo Raising Issue (PS2ver only)
I've had this black sky glitch many times before in Al Zahbi and Whitegate, not while raising a chocobo. I've also had double sky in Bhaflau(sp.) Thickets, which causes extreme fps slowdown, with next to no pc's/mobs nearby(disappears with night and day.) The game froze for me a couple times while having a black sky trying to talk to the rent-a-room-npc. The Aht Urghan sky is very glitchy, at least on ps2.

But I haven't been on since this update. Did they fix the black sky glitch completely?
