Top 5 favorite Movies of all times

What are your top 5 fav movies of all time?

5. American History X

A real thinker. Makes you look at rascsim in a completely different view.

4. The shawshank Redemption

Sadness.

3. Rock 'N' Rolla

Again, the director is a fav, and I love the pace of the movie.

2. Sunshine

God, I loved the storyline, and I love the director.

1. Batman: The Dark Knight

Pretty much Heath Ledger was my fav actor... Greatest. Performance. Ever.

Re: Top 5 favorite Movies of all times

I'm too big of a movie fan, I can't rank them because then I feel like I'm doing the other movies some sort of disjustice... In no particular order:

The Matrix
Braveheart
Lord of the Rings (The trilogie, because it really is just one long movie)
Heat
Love Actually (chick flick, but man, this movie was really well done...)
The Dark Knight - heath ledger owned that movie, it's a damn shame...

Re: Top 5 favorite Movies of all times

TITANIC!!

Psh yeah right, I hated that damn movie.

1) The Matrix / Animatrix
2) The last Samurai
3) MiB
4) Wasabi
5) The League of Extraordinary Gentleman (and Women)

That list isn't really about the movies I consider the best or anything of the sort, just my favorite ones and which I can watch over and over again without getting tired of them.

OK, you don't get to talk about the quality of actors ever again.

Hmmmm... top 5.

(1) The Princess Bride
(2) The Dark Knight
(3) The Empire Strikes Back
(4) Dogma
(5) Ghostbusters

Would have put The Green Mile in there, but I still like the serial books better.

Why are all the best Stephen King movies in a prison?

^^This the IMAX theatre that I saw it at had free refills on popcorn and pop. I of course always sit in the center of the IMAX and I didn't feel like walking back across 50 people to the aisle only to walk back 5 mins later.

Re: Top 5 favorite Movies of all times

Empire Strikes Back
Altered States
Monty Python's Holy Grail
LotR Trilogy
Amelie

The Watchmen was okay, fun movie going experience.
But, I felt like they kind of raped the comic.
The "over the top" gore and violence was silly,
and the changes they made were unnecessary.

The group was called "The Crimebusters" not "The Watchmen",
and it was led by Captain Metropolis not Ozymandias.
stupid little things like that got me more than them changing the ending. ha ha

On the plus, the casting was great.
Jackie Earle Haley owned Rorschach.
It was worth the $10 to see him play Rorschach!!

*end rant*

Re: Top 5 favorite Movies of all times

Yeah that guy owned the Rorshach role, I don't think there's an actor out there that could have done him better. It was one of those times where the voice you imagined the character having came right out in the movie.
