Movie Buzz
With all the movies coming out I thought it would be nice to share where I get most my moive info and news from. Movie Buzz is done by a regualr guy in NYC and seems to have a strong passion for all things movie related. I will try to keep up and continue to post his shows in this forum. He does 2 a week. 1 on Tue and another on Fri.

I seriously doubted that the Chun-Li movie could be worse than Dragonball. Trailer doesn't look that amazing, but Street Fighter has a better chance of me seeing it than Dragonball.


And the Cowboy Bebop live action movie feat. Keanu Reeves..... "There are no words"

I almost lol'd when he said G-Force and Pigs in the same sentence, but I remembered I found that movie on accident when I was doing a search for "G-Force BKA Gatchaman" There is also a Gatchaman animated movie coming out this summer.

The SF movie seems to have a lot more street credibility with some of the better kung-fu people in it. Kristen Kruek isn't one of those people, but she makes for nice eye candy, so I can't complain about them picking her as Chun Li (though she's lacking the behemoth thighs for the role, (but then Ming Na Wen has the same problem XD ) I was just watching the visuals, I don't have the sound on my PC hooked up yet (just moved). If nothing else, it will be good for the action, which is still more than I can say for the DBZ movie, which just looks like pure crap on every level.

Live Action Cowboy Bebop... I'm apathetic. Its my favorite anime ever and transitioning it to live action isn't beyond the scope of reason, but it isn't needed, either. They'd probably do another animated movie in the future, given the popularity of the series, which is why I feel a live action movie just isn't needed. If they nailed the casting, I'd go see it, though. Keanu Reeves could pull off Spike, but there's much better choices out there. Plus I don't think Spike's hair would work well in live action

Plus I can't really think of anyone that could do Faye Valentine justice, at least, well enough to destroy the horror known as Man-Faye.

The Watchmen Lawsuit is yet another frivelous-type. DC has the rights to Watchmen, Warner Brothers owns DC, thus, its a Warner Bros. property. I've only read the first issue of Watchmen - which DC recently reprinted as standalone, and it was an awesome read, so I can't wait to go out and grab the rest of the story, let alone see the movie.

There's just something about the way that Watchmen is written that makes it very believable. Maybe its the grim outlook of Rorschach or they way they weave in book excerpts talked about in the story or even just the way they make it feel like it could happen in the real world, but they take what would honestly otherwise be incredibly lame concepts for comic book heroes and make them feel every bit as important as Batman or Superman. I can definitely see why its so revered among comic fans.

Why is that Feba? If you dont like the guy thats fine, you have the choice not to watch it but I am posting for the sole reason to share this movie information with ppl that want to view it. I have 1 thread out of the 1000's on this site and you want to shut it down b/c you and a few others don't like it? I don't think that is very fair but hey... if you do then go ahead. All I wanted to do is get movie info out to people that would enjoy hearing about it 2 times a week.
