I remember a while back, someone had a signature and it said that a guide was being worked on (A member of this forum) I can't remember the DRG ... anyway, does this ring a bell for anyone? I'm just morbidly curious and bored out of my mind.
Thanks ahead. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 07-25-2007, 02:37 PM | #2 (permalink) | | Member Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Texas Posts: 776 Style: Light - Version 6 Thanks: 11 Thanked 126x in 92 Posts Gil: 0 Bank: 2,590 Total Gil: 2,591 Donate | Re: DRG Solo Guide... That does for some reason, and I want to say it was a mod with a name that started with a T, maybe Tav something. I think that was where I saw the drg solo guide. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | The following user says "Thank You" to Necropolis for above post: | | | 07-25-2007, 02:39 PM | #3 (permalink) | | RABBITGAME Keeper of Knowledge Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Confirmed Posts: 2,890 Style: Light - Version 6 Thanks: 83 Thanked 214x in 165 Posts Gil: 24,759 Bank: 9,244 Total Gil: 34,003 Donate | Re: DRG Solo Guide... I mean, just imagine the patience and endurance to do that w/ just about ANY melee job.
I'm not particularly interested in just any DRG soloing guide. Just the guide that was supposedly worked on by that one DRG. Also, if I remembered correctly, she/he was very enthusiastic about that class and would always have very good advice for newbie DRGs (and veteran players alike) | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 07-25-2007, 02:45 PM | #6 (permalink) | | Veteran Member Keeper of Knowledge Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: Honolulu Posts: 2,250 Style: Light - Version 6 My Mood: Thanks: 62 Thanked 34x in 20 Posts Gil: 13,033 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 13,033 Donate | Re: DRG Solo Guide... Not quite ... Tazirai I know was a main SMN and that guide seems to have a bit of partying option with the setup. Also, there was no guide published at the time I last read the DRG's post about it. It was still "work in progress" and "promise to release it as soon as it was completed."
But thank you for trying Necro | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 07-25-2007, 03:09 PM | #7 (permalink) | | Member Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Texas Posts: 776 Style: Light - Version 6 Thanks: 11 Thanked 126x in 92 Posts Gil: 0 Bank: 2,590 Total Gil: 2,591 Donate | Re: DRG Solo Guide... Bah, now it's buggin me. I'm gonna have to read through old post till I find it now. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 07-25-2007, 05:02 PM | #8 (permalink) | | Heir to Odin Oracle of Knowledge Join Date: May 2006 Location: None of your damn business Posts: 3,418 Style: Light - Version 5 My Mood: Thanks: 707 Thanked 313x in 213 Posts Gil: 91,670 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 91,670 Donate | Re: DRG Solo Guide... I recently took my DRG to 37 and have some experience on this along with some things I've read about for the higher levels (I know some 75 DRG's as well ^^) - Always have level appropriate Meat and HQ if at all possible.
- 1-15/16: Grilled Black Hare
- 16-27: Juicy Mutton
- 27-37: Wild Steak (I forget the exact level to use the steak, but no later than 30 that's for sure)
- Always hunt mobs that are weak to piercing if possible (e.g. Don't bother with any bats that will use attack down; it'll really slow you down)
- 1-8 Mandragora and Bees in East Sarta
- 7-13: Mandragora and Akbaba in Tahrongi Canyon
- 15-23: Sylvestre and Zu in Buburimu Peninsula
- 22/23 - 29: Worms and Bats in Qufim Island
- 21-31: Bats in Delkfutt's Tower (Hint: Gigas pets have low and fast respawns)
- 30-33: Mandragora in Yuhtunga Jungle (no earlier than 28 or they will be VT)
- 28-35: Goblin's Bee (30) and Yhoator Mandragora (they're 35-37)
I've got a lot more I can add but I'll post it later. Oh, and from lv 8+ I found that /BLU was by far the best sub you can use unless you need status healing spells. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | The following user says "Thank You" to Malacite for above post: | | | 07-25-2007, 05:05 PM | #9 (permalink) | | Veteran Member Keeper of Knowledge Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: Honolulu Posts: 2,250 Style: Light - Version 6 My Mood: Thanks: 62 Thanked 34x in 20 Posts Gil: 13,033 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 13,033 Donate | Re: DRG Solo Guide... You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be misqouted and then used against you. | | ::Quote Selected:: | | The following user says "Thank You" to Vyuru for above post: | | | 07-30-2007, 12:26 PM | #13 (permalink) | | Junior Member Join Date: Mar 2006 Posts: 25 Style: Light - Version 6 Thanks: 0 Thanked 2x in 2 Posts Gil: 1,332 Bank: 0 Total Gil: 1,332 Donate | Re: DRG Solo Guide... She played on my server. Last time I spoke to her she had BST leveled fairly high and was working on that I believe. Her soloing was largely due to the limited time she could play too, which would explain why perhaps she stopped working on the DRG solo guide.
I don't play anymore myself, but I'll see if any of my old friends can get a hold of her for ya. =p | | ::Quote Selected:: | | 07-30-2007, 12:40 PM | #14 (permalink) | | Alone Oracle of Knowledge Join Date: Jul 2005 Location: Boston Posts: 3,145 Style: Light - Version 6 My Mood: Thanks: 251 Thanked 295x in 206 Posts Gil: 15,536 Bank: 21,106 Total Gil: 36,642 Donate | Re: DRG Solo Guide...
