Wooo emotes!

A dragoon’s wyvern will now perform the following emotes along with its master:

blush/bow/cheer/clap/dance/goodbye/hurray/joy/panic/point/salute/surprised/wave

I know its a very minor addition to an update with alot of good stuff, but I have to confess this has REALLY got me excited! I can't wait to see Eisenzahn do these after the update is done!

we asked for more wyvern control the give us emotes.... /em slams head off desk... dont get me wrong i think the emotes are awesome but give dark two new spells to increase their potency (absorb-tp turned their tp gain way up and overpowered drk/sam) and give us some cosmetic bs. Im let down s-e

Keep in mind that our NPCs have all those emotes too I think, they at least have /bow and /wave

Call out Lumiere and Khuma and let the fun emoting begin!

I always hoped they would give wyverns some long range ability to pull mobs or something but I guess that might not happen...

I hear what your saying, I mean it would be nice to have BST like command of our wyverns, but I think SE has given us alot to improve the job. I don't mind getting passed over so the other jobs can have their turns.

I tried the new wyvern emotes. They are great, seems like they breath new life into our flying friends.

i dont think we should have "control" over our wyvern. cause unlike bst, our wyvern is now our slave, and unlike pup our wyvern does exist its not a robot, and for smn the avatar is fighting for the smn.

so for dragoon its our wyvern fights with us, possibly and increase in wyvern stats or merits that affect wyvern only (merit breath damage!) stuff like that. or a quest to increase wyverns strentgh based on the holy crest it has

Id rather have additional abilities with a wyvern rather than a rise in Str or Attack. Gear and merits can compensate for those anyway.

Hm, think it's about time to get back into levelling my dragoon. ^_^ I love that job. And I love my cute little draggie. And now it emotes, too? If only the update wasn't being so sluggish, I'd go play with it.

simple thing is i lvled up in the whole drk v drg thing drks do on average out ws the shit outa us (have my pentas beat gulliotines yes of course they have) but we always had been able to out tp the shit out of them out, balancing everything out. Now yes they fixed our 2hr ungimping our wyvern i was very happy with that i think tele was on the ls when me and my drk friend were exping and i used spirit surge lol ya i was happy as hell. And yes they did make it so jumps were refreshed i was also happy about that. But now that Drks have absorb-tp they are basically on par with drg tp still out ws us, im not gonna bitch about gear like no hauby etc. im really over that whole thing, but they just keep adding to darks and leaving drg behind they fixed our 2hr which should have been done, but they keep buffing other jobs and leaving us behind. Sorry if im not happy about making my wyvern be able to /wave, i just expected a lil more with the other boosts to jobs.

Seriously though I think the wyvern should be given the pet commands of "Assualt" and "Retreat" which Summoners and Beastmasters already have for avatars and pets. That would make the wyvern good as a pulling tool and perhaps disspell some of the stigma attached to dragoon.

The emotes are a cool addition and I'll enjoy playing with them, but I think our little dragon could use those commands...
