Getting money for the Mezraq

Ever since the Mezraq came out, DRGs have finally gotten a reason to
shell out millions of gil at a time (sorta). What is everyone's favorite way of
making the money for this lance?

With any luck, this thread will get more DRGs using the Mezraq.
Maybe people will see these DRGs and lose the "loldrg" attitude and all that jazz.
I dunno. I just want the Mezraq

At least on my server...you can save 250k on the mezraq synth by getting the woodworker to make you the bloodwood lumber out of a log first. The logs are 250k and the lumber is 500k...

500k for the lumber, eh? Lucky you. Kujata likes them 1 mil price tags...

I ended up mining up Mount Zaylhom left and right, and sold off just about every other lance I had (and a few other items) to cover the costs of getting Mezraq, but it was well worth it. It hasn't let me down yet (I even got it signed, it's the first signed product I have). I <3 my Mezraq.

I lost all hope with my crafters, when a level 100+3 Clothcraft JP broke my Synth for the 500k mage puppet item ; ; So, just make sure it's someone you know, if you choose to get it synthed.

Yar, that's the one thing that made me nervous about getting this thing crafted. Losing materials, work, and gil on breaks and such is really a letdown. I had to find another Wootz and Khroma ore when the first IWI I had crafted broke.

I was lucky I knew several good people I could rely on to point me to the right crafters and reliable people. That's almost as important as the work you put in yourself gathering the materials.

Solo BCNM 20 Shooting Fish.

20 seals = ~700k

It adds up quick.

Lumber when I got it kept going from 500K to 1mil. Guess it's stable by now.

The Mezraq is nice. Impairs Evasion goes off alot, a bit more than Attack Down on the Dreizack. It looks good too :3b

My Dragoon friend (RL friend also) got this recently and won't stop talking about how
cool it is... (I have to admit it looks very wicked)

He tried to "gather" all of the ingredients through mining, logging, etc. He got some
of the ingredients this way, but in the end I think he was able to fish the money to
buy the ingredients with money faster than he could just obtain them through h.e.l.m.
(apparently you still get aggro @ 75 in some of the areas you need to get the
ingredients)

He has the advantage of having a wife that is 100+3 WW and has all other crafts to 60
(and high level fishing, she is my crafting sensei, lol) so now he has a signed Mezraq.
So if anyone on Valefor needs this crafted, PM me or send me a {/tell} in game and I
can direct you her way. (she probably charges a small fee, not sure)

But anyways, very nice Dragoon item (^.^)b

My drg friend got one too, I guess Cerberus is in the same area that you mine, which is where most death comes from.

My drg is only 54 so I have a ways til I need it, but I am pretty sure I'll farm or whatever it takes to get one once I hit the right lvl.

On valefor I believe it is around 8 mil atm.
