hey everyone, im a dragoon/whm at the moment, i was a drg/war recently, but then my friend told me to become a drg/whm because they are very good in pts, with the help of the healing wvyern. i was wondering if i should stick to this, or should i just level my warrior a little bit, then go back to subbing war, cause my war is only level 10 now. any ideas? thanks.

Your wyvern will only use a heal breath on you if you cast a spell and stay under 1/4th health, it will only heal your party members when they drop under 1/8th.. In an emergency it might be useful, but in the time it takes for you to cast, the wyvern to ready, then heal, that 1/8th hp will be gone and your party member will be dead.

Level WAR. WHM sub is great for helping people and some types of farming later on though.

PT wise, not recommended, since in a party you need work togather and you are a melee yer job is to maximize yer dmg output

Soloing wise, decent, before the tp nerf a drg with penta thrust can solo Evens, Toughs or even V Toughs, since penta gives back so much tp (before nerf) the drg will spam penta while the wyvern will spam heals, making em half invincible. After the nerf everything went down the drain.

side note: it's useful if you need to go thru dangerous places
