When should normal "Jump" be used?
Now I do Jump as soon as I can but I wonder if it is better in some situations? Does the normal jump get away some of the hate?

I use it as a TP builder. Same with high jump usually.

i.e.

- Build TP to 100% with normal attacks.
- Penta thrust to 60% (or 72% if double attack activates)
- Jump (72%)
- High jump (84%)
- 2 more regular hits
- Penta thrust again.
- Super jump if necessary to clear hate.

That's assuming you land all 5 hits.

Works good before Lv 60 when you can get meditate with SAM sub. I guess you can do the same after meditate, for three continuous Penta Thrusts.

I use regular jump right at the start of the fight. That way it will be useable again during the same fight.

I use Jump usually at the beginning of battle. When leveling there usually isn't enough time to wait fo the next battle. Quite a few times I've used jump to get the hate off another member, with a succesful jump I usually attack with my spear around the same time, getting the most damage and getting the most hate. It helps the provokers for a little so they can be healed and such.

Jump can miss quite often, so I don't think counting it as a TP booster is that good of an idea. It's advantage is range. So why not take advantage of that? I usually use it when someone is pulling it back. So, instead of waiting for the puller to bring it to camp all the way, I'll use jump to get an attack in before everyone else has a chance. You could also use it if a mage happens to get aggro. Since, it walks away from the meele, you can use jump to get a hit in.

contradictin yourself right there -_-; if say it misses, then what good will it be at grabbing the monster before a mage gets aggro'ed from casting a spell? plus if your tank is there his voke would have pulled it before your jump gets in range. They might have changed the jump's accuracy from the last patch though cuz i rarely miss..

Well if missing you jump is something you are worried about, I was missing quite a lot too, but then I got my balance ring, and wow, that helped so much, I only miss a jump rarely now. Get that Dex up and you can jump assured you will probably hit.

I don't use Jump to get hate. I use it to get in a hit when my spear can't reach. I use jump for it's range. I never use it when i'm standing right next to the enemy. What would be the point of that, when I can just poke him? As for the accuracy, i haven't been a DRG for that long, so i can't to any compairing.
