Dragoon Dmg? - Final Fantasy XI :: Dreams in Vana'diel :: Community

Sorry if this was already answered, but does the dragoon out damage most of the other meele jobs? With their wyvern out will they do more dmg then a samurai? If they don't, I can't see why they would be useful since samurai's can tank better. Btw I kno that damage could vary from different sub jobs, but lets just say they all sub war.

I was also wondering just how much damage Dragoons can dish out... Especially the heavier-hitting skills (High Jump, Penta Thrust). Thanks for any info :D

I've said this alot of times, but hey once more won't hurt.

You'll be doing some of the best damage in the party, but you don't want to take many hits as it'll be painful.

Dragoons will become very strong attackers. As for their weapon skills, Penta thrust is so good that many Samurai's are learning it to lvl up TP for Renkei fast. Add it with High Jump ad Dragoons are one of the best attackers in the game.
