Dat files messed up?

I downloaded brandson.livejournal.com, y pasted each folder manually , the game starts i select the char, and when its loading it crashes. Any1 know if i hv to uninstall game ?

Hi,

When you start up pol, you can have it check the files. It will download missing or bad .dat files.

I tried to do that but i got a error msg, as it was @ 99% to finish downloading and fixing the files.

Brandson has retired from making his custom UI mod. Emiko has taken over the project (along with the chartography), they both can be found here.

You might be able to go there and get the latest release and fix your "broken" dats with those and all should be ok... Unless you mistakenly replaced an incorrect .DAT.

Not sure why you would receive an error with the FFXI File Checker unless maybe something wrong with connection.
