| Junior Member |   How do i find where to place certain .dats?
Is there a list or something that would show me where to place certain .dats? If i open the files it all comes up a symbols and other such nonesence.

Hallihallo Coldkillcowboy The tool Modelviewer gives you the chance to preview the models and also shows the place of the DATs. A very up to date version can be found here: http://www.ffximc.com/list.php?c=tools Nice Day Nomido

Note that the numbers you see when you load a model are the location. For example: 1-131-34.dat This would lead to (game install path)\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI\ROM\131\34.dat So the first # is the ROM# folder (ROM1 being just ROM), the second number is the folder in the ROM# folder (so in the example it'd be the folder named 131) and the 3rd number is the dat file name (34.dat in this example).
