Copy/paste skin vrs

Hi all, i have a problem with VRS, i just want put GKT skin on a GSword. (mithra) Mouvements are sames when attacks but there are differents when take out/in weapons. But i think i'ts not necessary to change motions because i would change only the skin.


i'm loading the 2 .dats



i copy/paste GKT on Gsword but i'm wedged. i try many things but always echecs. Where make i errors ? :s help me plz
Or the solution consist to change motion of great katana when taking out/in, but i'm a noob with vrs :s

I am not sure what exactly you want.
Do you want a GKT that moves like a Gsword?
or
Do you want a Gsword that has the skin of a GKT put on it? Don't know if this would look good.

PS.: I understand under "skin" the bitmap that is used to cover the model.

GKT with mouvements of Gsword (GKT on the back) , the mouvements attacks between GS and GKT are same except when you put up/draw your weapon.

Maybe the solution is :
-change GS's skeleton like GKT and put skin on
-change motions of put up/draw weapon to have GKT one your back

i have try to change .DAT of GS (Ragnarok) of my HAGUN.DAT and its work perfectly, so i think with just change Skeleton, it will work.

What's the better programm for this, Matsequoia or Vrs.

and i change .mqo (mqo is ok in Metasequoia) and bitmap, i obtain that:

Hallihallo Dada

You can use Metasequia for the following:
+UV mapping
+Moving around objects or points

This will mess up the DAT:
+Creating new points
+Deleting existing points
+Reimporting the weapon over a different weapon in the viewer

To create or delete points you need VRS.
