| Brooklyn Rage Bronze Ribbon of Service | Right, so the Tutorial has left me with a question. Looking into Race changing
I have a Galka who I can't stand to look at anymore honestly, but although I started another Hume for mage classes, I want to keep my Galka since I have WAR, NIN and SAM on him already leveled up quite a bit. So if I wanted to just change the way my Galka looked to a Hume, I'd just use the VRS program and I find whatever DAT makes my Galka look like a Galka? Thanks in advance.

Not as easy as it sounds. You also need to keep in mind that only you will see the different-looking data change. There's a program out there that does it for you but it's risky to use if you ask me. Also, it won't be only one dat you're changing, but many. There's the skin that gives it color, the alpha mapping that determines what is transparent, the skeleton that tells the model how to move, the animation files that tell the skeleton what to do what and how, the mesh which gives the dat its actual shape...that sort of thing. It's not just one dat that'll make you look like a different race. I don't know how to do it myself, otherwise I would. I do know one thing though: Back up your files or else you'll be in big trouble if you screw up. |
