Mezraq/Ice Lance

Is there any way to replace the in-game model of the Mezraq with the model for an Ice Lance??

IMO, the Mezraq is just not what a Dragoon should be carrying around, but it unfortunately has the best stats for a DRG weapon (other than Gung). I just get tired of seeing it around.

A little help would be appreciated.

Go to your FFXI installation folder. Then go to the folder called ROM. Next go to the folder 35, and then make a copy of 34.DAT on your desktop. Now, go back to ROM and go to folder 163. Rename file 104.DAT to something like 104.Backup.DAT. Take the file 34.DAT on your desktop, rename it to 104.DAT and put it into folder 163.

Basically yout copying ROM/35/34.dat to ROM/163/104.DAT. And making a buckup incase you wanna change back later.

HumeM: 30/58.DAT -> 163/98.DAT
Elvaan M: 40/2.DAT -> 163/110.DAT
Elvaan F: 44/103.DAT -> 163/116.DAT
Taru M/F: 49/64.DAT -> 163/122.DAT
Mithra: 54/60.DAT -> 164/0.DAT
Galka: 59/30.DAT -> 164/21.DAT
